22 is een reeks over alleen zijn. Door te focussen op mijn gevoel wanneer ik alleen ben wil ik de positiviteit, vrijheid, rust en kracht ervan weergeven.

Aan de hand van foto’s, collages, tekst en presentatie leg ik gevoelens, herinneringen en gedachten die vaak aan onze aandacht ontsnappen op een poëtische en tastbare manier vast. Deze elementen zorgen samen voor een fragiel en persoonlijk project.

Mijn fascinatie voor het maken van beelden, zowel met als zonder camera, begon op jonge leeftijd. Mijn studies hebben in de loop der jaren dan ook voor een eigen aanpak en stijl gezorgd, waarbij ik mijn eigen foto’s maak, verzamel, samenvoeg en presenteer tot een visueel concept.

Elena De Lie, costume designer, will present her work 'The Vision' from her project 'KLEIN'. The project is about being small, scale and measurement. KLEIN is a critical response to Le Corbusier's Modulor, a proportional system that standardizes the human height at 1.83m, which he applied to architecture and design as a universal measure.

As a response, she developed her own system of measurement, her own 'Red Scale' as the starting point for all her works. The red scale manifests in sculptural works that are specifically shaped to her body. By redefining scale, the work seeks to explore the tension between universal standards and individual dimensions.

Geraldo Dos Santos (b. 1993, Amsterdam) is a transnational artist whose life and practice have been shaped by experiences across the Netherlands, Brazil, and Peru. He graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie (Fine Arts, 2020) and completed a Master’s in Autonomous Contexts at Sint Lucas Antwerp in 2023, specializing in Narrative Strategies and Aesthetics. In 2025, he also earned a degree in Art Education from the Willem de Kooning Academy. Dos Santos’s practice explores memory, hybridity, and
identity through the interaction between personal narratives and South American ritual systems. His work exists at the intersection of heritage and materiality, using everyday and symbolic forms to investigate the connections between the intimate and the collective. Working as both a colorist and a materialist, he constructs “strange relationships”,poetic, ambiguous encounters between memory and matter. Through painting, ceramics, and installation, Dos Santos reflects on the fragile, layered nature of belonging and cultural transformation.

Manu Van Guijze moves with quiet intention through her practice, guided by a deep sensitivity to softness, nature, and care. With a background in Interior Design and Visual Arts, her work gently bridges the worlds of design and fine art. She creates spaces and surfaces that invite contemplation, where slowness and material presence become acts of resistance. Textiles are her chosen language. Through hand-tufted pieces, she translates natural forms - like the cross-sections of cabbages, crystals, and beets - into tactile compositions that hum with layered complexity. These pieces are not only seen, but felt: rooted in softness, grounded in process, and infused with a sense of stillness. Much of her yarn is dyed by hand, using pigments from red cabbage, black beans, turmeric, wine, and beetroot, each color a fragment of memory, origin, and time. Her work offers softness as a form of strength, an invitation to pause, sense, and reconnect.

Je bent me terug aan het roepen!
Daarom blijf ik trouw aan de belofte die ik je heb gedaan.
Ik ga je laten ontplooien door je te tekenen en te boetseren om al deze herinneringen van je terug naar boven te halen.
Alles waarmee ik tot je ben aangetrokken.
Via decorstukken, beelden en tekeningen zal er een rode wereld ontstaan — jij, de stad van de pure en hartstochtelijke liefde.
We dansen samen, waardoor de zee opgewekt wordt en de warme, rode gloed tussen ons heen en weer stroomt.
Ik kan niet wachten om je terug te zien.
Ik kan niet wachten om je uit de rode mist te zien opdoemen.
Want elke keer ontdek en herontdek ik je opnieuw.

In mijn werk zoek ik het spanningsveld tussen oude en nieuwe beeldtradities, tussen de zichtbare en onzichtbare sporen van de maker, en een beeldtaal die vervorming met expressie samenbrengt.
Daarin ben ik geboeid door de ambachtelijke imperfecties die ontstaan tijdens creatieproces, die beschouw ik als essentiële elementen van mijn esthetiek.

Ik werk in materie en taal, waarbij het ene het andere voedt.
Soms neemt het fysieke maken het over, dan weer het schrijven, steeds primeert het beeldende.

Wat zichtbaar wordt kan werkelijk zijn, ongeacht de maat van het mogelijke.
