Jan S'heeren

"Through his practice, he seeks ways for technology to echo the tenderness of biological life, inviting moments of pause and attention that open into rediscovered wonder."
Jan S’heeren (b. 2001) is a visual artist and graphic designer whose artistic practice sits at the crossover between science and poetry. His work traces how living systems reveal themselves through pattern, tension, and transformation, looking to the natural world as a teacher; a choreography of growth, decay, and renewal that mirrors human and ecological emotions.
He sees beauty as a space of contradiction: soft and serrated, tender and raw. Drawn to the edge between care and ruin where discomfort sits, he creates systems that behave like organisms; sensitive, adaptive, highly unstable.
Through his practice, he seeks ways for technology to echo the tenderness of biological life, inviting moments of pause and attention that open into rediscovered wonder.
